Lee Victor Iken's Obituary
Lee Victor Iken, 56, of Hudson, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 11th, at home, in the care of his loving family. A native of Levittown, New York, Lee was born September 23, 1964, to the late Sybil and Murray Iken. He is survived and loved by his devoted wife, Paula, his beloved son, Trevor, and three doting sisters: Esther Feingold and her husband, Duane, of Levittown; Etta McElroy, of Levittown; and Andrea Halvorsen, of North Bay, Ontario. He was adored by nieces Beth, Lesley, and Marrisa, his great-nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Matthew, Hannah, Brandon, and Brianna, and cousins Zachary and Kayla.
Lee graduated from Malone University and loved his profession. He enthusiastically spent over thirty years building an impressive reputation of success in the electronic components distribution industry, gaining the respect of so many, ultimately working for TTI Inc., where he was Director of Transportation Marketing for the Americas. He was a born traveler and did so extensively, throughout his career and life. He was a tourist of life and encouraged and inspired others to be as bold as he was.
Lee was an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop #327 and is the proud father of an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He had a quick wit and a sharp, observational sense of humor. He was an unapologetic fan of the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots and got a kick out of bantering about them with colleagues and friends. But most of all, he took great joy in being a father. He will be deeply missed.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be planned at a later date. Donations in Lee’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
