William George Haas' Obituary
Bill Haas (William George Haas) was born in Cleveland, Ohio 7/19/1938, and attended Cleveland Heights High School, graduating in 1956. He attended Ohio University, Ohio State University, and later graduated from Ohio State University with a Master’s Degree in Russian, Phi Beta Kappa, and subsequently taught Russian at Colgate University in New York state. A frustrating attempt at completing his Ph.D. in Slavic languages, at the University of Chicago, drove Bill to accept a Commercial Management position with AT&T in Columbus, Ohio, the company he stayed with until Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ended his career in early retirement.
Bill had 2 children, Kevin (Andrea) of Park City, Utah and Chad, in Colorado, 3 grandchildren, Troy, Kyle and Serena and one brother, Mark (Alice), of Solon Ohio. Both parents Jerome and Frieda (nee Toll) are deceased. ALL SERVICES PRIVATE. NO VISITATION.
