Steve and I were fraternity brothers and best friends in Ann Arbor in the mid-fifties. My family also greatly enjoyed the pleasure of his company when he attended graduate dental school in Detroit. He spent many evenings at our home following the birth of our son, Justin, whom he promptly named "Ace." His warmth.humor, and intelligence were always present. My wife and I were disappointed that we didn't spend more time with him and Nan over the years-the geography and making our ways just didn't gel. Doesn't mean I will ever forget my good buddy.
Nan, I just learned of Steve's passing and don't have your address or phone. You know how I felt about him - as I'm sure so many others cared about this exceptional guy. My deepest condolences.
