Reuben Silver, 88, husband of Dorothy (nee Greenbaum) father of Paul (Linda) of Pittsburgh, Daniel (Ann) of CO and Joshua of Philadelphia, grandfather of Sarah, David, Jeremy and Maria, brother of the late Rena (Phil) Schwartzberg of Israel. U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. Artistic director of Karamu Theatre for 21 years, Chairman of the Cleveland State University Theatre Department for 17 years and long-time actor, director and educator. Memorial service Monday, June 9, 2014 at 1:30 PM at The Ensemble Theatre, 2843 Washington Blvd., Cleveland Hts., Ohio 44118. Friends received same date and location immediately following service. Memorial donations suggested to any Cleveland-area theatre group of your choice.
