Natalie "Sue" Klein's Obituary
Sue Klein, who died on March 15, 2017, lived most of her life in Cleveland. She graduated from Cleveland Heights High and attended Mather College. In the 1980s she drove a bus for the JCC food program for the elderly, and later worked in the weight loss clinic at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Sue was heavily involved in the AFS student exchange program, and participated in AARP and the Cleveland Hunger Network activities. She also tutored young readers at Canterbury and Boulevard elementary schools. She really enjoyed the Cleveland Heights Senior Center and its activities.
Sue got pleasure out of talking with people, and spending time with her family.
She was the wife of Jared Klein (deceased). Loving mother of Alison Thompson, Paul (Juli Edberg), Miriam (Bob Cmarik) and Ari (Ditte Wolin), grandmother of Shoshana and Aviva Klein; also survived by a brother, David Lavine. Burial private. Shiva will be Friday 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 3393 Dellwood Rd., Cleveland Heights. Contributions may be made to the Cleveland Hunger Network and Beth El-The Heights Synagogue.
