Such a terrible loss! As a friend of Lisa, I have known Linda since I was in 6th grade. Linda was probably one of the strongest women I have ever known. She was kind, thoughtful, smart, and funny. She introduced me to Chinese take-out, shared Passover meals with me and comforted me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a great lady and will be missed! Our love and prayers to Lisa, Jeff, and their families.

Linda was a brave human being, and a delightful presence.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked at CEU from 1997-1999 as the unit secretary. I fondly remember Linda dressing up for our annual office Halloween parties. She showed a great sense of humor. God Bless, sincerely Joyce Dowell.
Linda was the boss when I was a junior officer assigned to Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland. I was one of VERY FEW women in the office and may have been the ONLY woman engineer...except for Linda of course! To have a mentor like her so early in my career in such a male dominated field was beyond priceless. I can honestly say, her guidance and understanding helped me to leave the Coast Guard for a couple of years to play with my young children and then return to serve many more. I ultimately rose to the rank of Captain and served as the Chief of Civil Engineering for the Coast Guard's Atlantic Area. Without Linda, my Technical Director, I'm not sure I would have been so successful! God Bless You Linda! You are missed.
P.S. - To the author of the obit - nicely done! I am so pleased to read that Linda had such a full and happy life. She remains an inspiration.

I remember many Saturday mornings, sitting with Linda in her car just talking about anything and everything. There is nothing like the love and companionship of a good friend! She will be remembered!
