Kenneth Leo Kiner's Obituary
Kenneth Leo Kiner, beloved husband of June Betty Kiner (nee Saginor), and Helene Kiner (deceased) will have a Celebration of his life on Sunday, January 28 at 2:00 PM at Temple Am Shalom, 7599 Center Street, Mentor, Ohio 44060. He was an honest, caring, special man: A True Renaissance Man! He stepped up to fix any situation without any fanfare. He had a great sense of humor and a big roar. He was a Leo by his middle name and his birth month. He was also stubborn but said that enabled him to get as far as he did. He ran his own Kiner’s Sunoco Station and then worked for Coca Cola. When he retired, he went to work part time at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. He was often stopped by satisfied customers who recognized him. He volunteered at Lake West for almost 5 years and served with June on the Laketran Passenger Advisory Council. He was a proud member of Owatonna Lodge and The Jewish War Veterans. He is survived by his children Loren (Lynda) Kiner and Alisa (Vincent) Baker and his brother Eugene Kiner and his sister Bessie Singer. He enjoyed the love of multiple generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He wanted contributions to go to Temple Am Shalom, P. O. Box 1507, Mentor Ohio 44061-1507, Jewish War Veterans Post 44 (c/o Larry Pollak, 6726 Wilson Mills Road, Gates Mills, Ohio 44040) and PAWS..
