Errol Kwait's Obituary
Errol Kwait died suddenly on July 11, surrounded by his cherished family. Errol is survived by his treasured wife, Jean (nee Rogers) of 56 years, his son Stephen (Christi) of Long Beach, CA, daughter Laura Glazer (Marc) grandsons Emmett, Josh and Adrien of Madison, WI, brother Michael (Barbara) of Ventura, CA, sister Lois Saks (Gary) of Deerfield, IL, many nieces and nephews, local cousins Cathy and Bill Koppelman and Robert and Elayne Kwait. Errol and Jean married in 1962, and moved to Boston where Errol earned his Masters Degree from Boston University. In 1964, Errol was a social work supervisor in London, England for the London County Council. Returning to Cleveland, he assisted in developing the social work department and began teaching at CSU, after which he devoted his career to children and families. Errol was an avid golfer. He made people smile and laugh wherever he went, with his priceless storytelling. A Celebration of Errol’s Life will be at Landerhaven, 6111 Landerhaven Drive, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124 on Friday, July 20 at 11:30 AM. Luncheon will be served following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations suggested to the Ronald McDonald House, 10415 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
