Elsie Gonzales' Obituary
Elsie Gonzalez (nee Eccleston) of Beachwood passed away March 13, 2017 at Maltz Hospice House. She was 84.
Elsie was born in Philadelphia. She worked as a bookkeeper and loved to volunteer at San Diego’s Museum of Man and in the early 90s at Mama’s Kitchen in San Diego delivery meals to residents with AIDS. She had a deep affection for animals and was the caregiver to many throughout her life. Her kindness, good cheer and sense of humor will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to come into contact with her.
Elsie is survived by her daughters, Francine (Alex) Blumin of Lyndhurst and Michelle Parascandola of Monroe, N.Y. and granddaughters Gia Parascandola and Rachel Blumin.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Elsie’s Club, an organization started in her name dedicated to providing activities to individuals in nursing homes. Elsie’s Club c/o Johnson Bank, 5600 North Lake Dr., Suite 101, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217.
