Dina Widman's Obituary
Dina Widman, (nee Farber) age 94, passed away at home on October 15th surrounded by her family. Born in Lodz, Poland, she was the only member of her family to survive the Holocaust. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the total focus of her life. She constantly lavished them with love and affection. She always delighted in preparing wonderful, traditional home-cooked meals and desserts. Dina was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1998 and is survived by her children Joseph (Alice), Paul (Lori), Henry, Sheila (Stephen, deceased) Gabriel and grandchildren, David and Hanna Gabriel, Josh and Ryan Widman. Graveside service at 3:50 PM Wednesday October 19th, at Zion Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends received at the family residence Wednesday 7-9 PM, and Thursday 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations suggested to the Kol Israel Foundation at kifcle.org.
