David Henry Krieger's Obituary
Dave Krieger passed away on March 16, 2019 at the age of 90 at Elmcroft Senior Living Facility in Sagamore Hills. He was born on November 3, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Louis and Rebecca (Davis) Krieger. He married Charlotte Goldstein in 1949 and later married Carole Singer in 1970.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and brother Edward Joseph. He is survived by sister-in-law Donna, his 3 children – daughter Judith and sons Paul and Todd, his grandchildren Sydney (Yuval) and Chad, his great grandchildren Yael, Yonatan and Yair, and his nieces and nephews.
He was a commercial artist by trade, but also loved to sketch, draw, and paint in his spare time. He also was an avid gardener and enjoyed listening to music and singing. He was an excellent athlete and was a high school cheerleader, wrestler, softball player and bowler.
As a young boy he and his brother Eddie spent many of their summers in Sharon, Pennsylvania with his grandparents and cousins. Even though he graduated from Shaker Heights High School, he also had many friends from John Adams High where he was an active member of their reunion committee.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, Ohio 44139. A reception will follow at Corky & Lenny’s at 27091 Chagrin Blvd in Woodmere.
