Christopher James Keller's Obituary
Christopher James Keller (“Chris”), age 55, of Maple Hts, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on
8-21-21 in Bedford, Ohio, per complications following a routine surgery.
Chris was born 12-20-1965 in Cleveland, Ohio. Most of his life was spent in & around
Twinsburg, OH, where he was widely known and loved as a gregarious, authentic, and
unforgettable character. He was recognized by many as the go-to person for numerous and
various issues, given his innate inventiveness and ingenuity. His larger-than-life persona belied
a gentle heart. He loved animals, traveling, time with friends, and live music, especially blues.
Chris lived life on his terms, with gusto, all the way through to the end.
Chris is survived by his feline daughter, Minnie; longtime partner Mary Jo Grenig and her son
Ricky; sister Jan Keller (Keith Pugh) and feline nephew Norbert, of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-
law Kathy, nephews William, and Eric (Tina) and family; and many family-of-choice members
including Ron & Susan Plesnicher of Twinsburg and Florida; the family of Clair & Pat Dunegan
of Twinsburg (Gary, Kevin, Karen, Heidi, and their spouses and children); and numerous
cousins and their families. He is pre-deceased by father William Keller; mother Eleanor
(Soboslay) and stepfathers William Maloney, and Daniel J. Simecek, Sr.; and brother Jon.
