Alyce Rose Lowy's Obituary
Alyce Lowy (nee Weisenberg) died peacefully on July 8, 2018 at the age of 86. She was the dear wife of the late George Lowy and beloved mother of Marc Dale Lowy, Laura Beth (Dr. Michael) Mouw, Leslie Jennifer (Steven Goodman) Levy and the late Keith Jonathon; Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Kendyl, Chanie, Nechama, Ella and Amelia; Cherished sister of twin brothers Larry and Jerry Weisenberg and the late Leonard Weisenberg and the late Robert Weisenberg; Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Alyce was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Ohio, graduating from Cleveland Heights High School and later attending Flora Stone Mather College to study accounting. Her college career was interrupted when she met and married George, whom she was married to for 52 years. She worked as a bookkeeper after marriage and later as a legal assistant at her husband George’s law firm. Alyce was a strong and spirited woman. Her strength, wit, intelligence and honest dialogue will be greatly missed.
Graveside service Tuesday, July 10 at 12:00 Noon at Mount Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, OH 44139. Family will receive friends following the service Tuesday Only from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at The Maltz Hospice House of The Montefiore Home, 1 David Myers Parkway, Beachwood, OH 44122. Please park in rear of building.
