Alexander Markovich, Ph.D., age 86, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio died April 14, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born in Novosibirsk, Russia. He retired after a long career as a university professor. His wife, Iya (nee Lang) is deceased, as are his parents, Yakov and Raisa (nee Shefteleva) Markovich. Alexander is survived by sons Michael (Cecilia) and Yuri (Anna) Markovich and grandchildren Ed and Alexandra Markovich. Private interment next to his beloved wife Iya. NO SERVICES. NO VISITATION.
