I will always remember his care for my dad when he was at his end stage in his life, walking to Menorah Park in he heat of summer to check in and visit. He was a giving person. May his memory be a blessing.
I met Alan in my late teens, and he served as a mentor as I began my foray into the working world.
He was a kind hearted man, always with a good laugh, and loved to read and accumulate more knowledge throughout the entire time I knew him.
Even as various ailments began overtaking him, he maintained a positive attitude, and was always questioning other people about their life rather than focusing on his struggles.
He was always offering to help others, from friends and community, to his wife, Marcy.
May his memory serve as an inspiration to those that knew him.
